Underarm pigmentation treatments_Before & After PICS

I previously posted about body whitening treatments, including bottom pigmentation injections and bottom spot injections.

Many people seem to be more stressed about underarm pigmentation than about their buttocks. Today, I'll be discussing underarm pigmentation, so please read on if you're concerned about dark underarms.

Why do underarms darken even without sun exposure? 

There are several reasons:

 

First, Many people with underarm pigmentation have a loss of elasticity in the skin, which makes it saggy. In these cases, pores and fine lines are also more visible.

Second, Friction can cause damage and lead to underarm pigmentation. This can occur due to excessive sweating or because of underarm hair, which can worsen the friction.

Third, Scratching from various skin inflammations can cause pigmentation after inflammation.

Fourth, Pigmentation can also occur due to hormonal changes during pregnancy and childbirth.

Today, I will introduce an underarm pigmentation treatment case. This patient's underarms darkened due to a skin rash that developed after applying deodorant for sweating about 10 years ago. They originally came to our clinic for underarm laser hair removal, but I recommended Gowoon Light Injections for underarm pigmentation treatment.

The treatment for underarm pigmentation is similar to that of bottom pigmentation injections. Gowoon Light Injections are the main treatment (although lasers may be necessary, depending on the case).

We also removed the underarm hair, which is one of the causes of underarm pigmentation. Although laser toning and whitening treatments are usually used for severe cases, we decided to try three Gowoon Light Injections first and then assess the need for further treatment.

 

These photos show the results after six Gowoon Light Injections (two sets). The patient loved the injections so much that they wanted to continue with them alone, without laser treatment. I was happy to see good progress without the laser.

The biggest difference after Gowoon Light Injections, like with bottom pigmentation injections, is not just the color but also the skin texture.

Here's another case of underarm pigmentation treatment. These are the before and after photos after two Gowoon Light Injections. Most cases are probably like this one: not severe pigmentation, but not comfortable raising their arms.

In cases like this, smooth underarms can be achieved with Gowoon Light Injections alone, without laser treatment.
