Rumors surrounding melting body fillers_FACTS EXPLAINED!

Hello, this is Dr.Kim from Gowoonmom Clinic

I am writing after a long time!

The most frequently asked question by patients who visit for a body filler treatment!

Does hip and dip filler really not leak?

Does upper chest filler really not leak?

Does body filler really not leak?

This is a question that we hear several times a day without fail.

Yesterday, a patient who came for hip and dip filler treatment said that her close sister worked in a plastic surgery clinic for more than 10 years and advised her to think carefully because the filler would leak.

Recently, another doctor who came to receive a new breast filler also asked if the filler would not leak.

Even medical professionals are worried about accurate information, let alone ordinary people.

Today, I will eliminate the misunderstanding that body filler leaks.

Body fillers do not leak.

What was used in the body was a filler that leaks.

In other words, there is a separate type of fillers that leak.

It is a question that needs to be traced back to the filler called 'Amazing Gel' that was widely used in China.

The above photo is a case of the side effects of breast filler that used Amazing Gel in China. The below is an article that explained this.

"Serious cases of side effects from breast surgery have been revealed in China.

On the 29th (local time), Shanghaiist, a Chinese media outlet, reported the story of a woman suffering from serious side effects after receiving a "breast enlargement injection."

According to the media, a woman named Wang received a "breast enlargement injection" at a hospital in China a few years ago. Strangely, her breasts became smaller, while her belly started to grow. This anomaly gradually worsened, and her body lost its breasts, developing "breast-shaped" fat in her belly.

Wang realized the seriousness of the situation and went to the hospital for an examination, where she discovered a shocking story. The breast-shaped lump of flesh that grew on her belly was the silicone filling material "Amazingel" that was injected into her breasts. The silicone caused a problem, causing it to fall from her breasts to her stomach.

The more serious problem was that both breasts had become necrotic due to long-term inflammation. The inflammation in her breasts could have threatened Wang's life, and she eventually underwent "breast removal surgery" on the advice of a doctor.

Amazingel, the substance that caused the problem, is known to have many side effects, causing problems such as hardened silicone in the breasts, hematoma, infection, etc., and its use has been banned. It is estimated that more than 400,000 people in China have received Amazingel injections, so it is expected that more cases of damage will continue to emerge."

'Amazing Gel' is a trash filler that is too shabby to be classified as a filler.

Moreover, this filler was officially approved by the Chinese authorities.

In China, people used this filler on their faces and bodies without hesitation. What happened?

Yes, the filler leaked.

The filler that was injected into the cheeks went down to the neck, and the filler inserted into the chest flowed down to the abdomen.

There was even a report that inflammation and even cancer occurred.

This is probably where the rumor that the filler leaks started.

In addition, Chinese people do not trust fillers approved by the Chinese government and prefer fillers imported from Korea.

Chinese-made fillers are strongly associated with leakage.

So nowadays, many traders are importing Korean fillers to China.

However, what happened!

A similar filler appeared in Korea about seven years ago and swept the filler market.

It was called Aqua Filling Filler.

At that time, I wrote a column not to use Aqua Filling Filler and insisted that patients should not use such filler....

As the price of Aqua Filling Filler was overwhelmingly cheap, it was widely used as a body filler.

Patients who had injected Aqua Filling Filler into their bodies at that time are still trembling, not knowing when side effects will occur.

Both Amazing Gel and Aqua Filling Filler are fillers made of a component called polyacrylamide.

Based on my research, there was no evidence that this component had been researched or approved for injection into the human body in any country.

When exporting and importing this filler, a quality certification of Class IIB is obtained.

Fillers used in the human body should receive Class III.

In other words, it means that the quality falls short of the grade that can be injected into the human body.

In conclusion, polyacrylamide filler leaks.

It is not the body filler that leaks, but the polyacrylamide filler.

The filler that I use for body filler treatment is hyaluronic acid filler used for the face.

Hyaluronic acid has been used by millions of people worldwide for over 30 years and is still being used actively.

When doing a full-face filler, about 20-30cc is used.

There has never been a report of leakage in 30 years.

Most hospitals use about 300cc of hyaluronic acid filler for body filler treatment, but I use almost 30cc as the basic capacity for body filler.

Of course, even if 300cc is used, it will never leak.

Anyway, I would like to inform you that I perform a body filler procedure that uses 30cc of hyaluronic acid filler as the base.

Hyaluronic acid body filler does not flow or drip under any circumstances.
