My own head filler story_2 years post procedure
Hello everyone, this is your Dr. Kim from Gowoonmom Clinic!
Today, I’m going to share my own experience with
one of the procedures I do.
With the filler market expanding day by day,
it’s now become possible to receive filler procedures for various parts of the
body, like breasts, buttocks, and hips.
But what are head fillers?
There are many people that heard of plastic
surgery on heads, but I’m sure not many people are aware of head fillers.
Head fillers have always been part of
filler procedures but it wasn’t as advertised by many people.
This is because it’s quite expensive.
But from around 5 years ago, with large
amounts of fillers being introduced in the market, filler costs have become
more affordable. As customers were able to afford head fillers with lower costs
per CC, many people are now looking to get head fillers.

From a very young age, I didn’t have an appealing head shape because the back of my head was really flat. It didn’t look pretty when I tied it in a pony tail. So I never tied my hair even during the scorching heat, and I had to add volume to it every morning using a dryer. But there was only so much I could do with a dryer. It wasn’t enough to cover how flat the back of my head was.
One of my regular customers received a head
surgery from a different plastic surgery hospital, and her head looked like a ‘corn-head’.
I was so shocked when I looked at it…She
opened up to me about her concerns.
“Doctor, the side of my head has gone even
flatter compared to pre-surgery, and it’s killing me…Is there anything I can
do? Can I put fillers in to re-shape the
shape of my head?”
You could tell she was really upset. She
was a very close customer of mine, and I’ve always been interested in head
shapes, so I studied for a very long time.
I studied how blood vessels ran in this
area, and looked into what areas I could inject fillers into. I then tested it
on the back of my head myself. Of course, the procedure was done by my fellow colleague.
2 years ago, I injected 12cc of fillers into the back of my head. I decided to call this filler, the 'crayon shinchan filler', as shinchan has a round head.

I was more than satisfied with the result,
and told her she was my first customer in doing such surgery and went on with
it. Both my customer and I were very very satisfied with the result.
And after years of studying and developing,
I’ve come up with the crayon shinchan filler.
By the way, only our hospital can use the
term crayon shinchan filler.

If the back of your head becomes a round shape
after receiving the crayon shinchan filler, there are so many styles you can
pull off with your hair. I think I’ve proven more than enough of how much
change this filler can bring 😊

Looking back at the photos now, I’m once again shocked at how flat the back of my head was two years ago…
I’m sure many people are stressed with how
flat the back of their head is.
There’s a common question customers ask me
when they’re interested with the filler but are concerned with the side effects
and pain.
Q. Isn’t it dangerous to inject fillers to
the back of your head? It’s close to your brain…doesn’t it affect the brain by
any chance?
Our heads are much thicker than you think. It’s surrounded by thick bones and just because it’s located closely to our brains, there’s no possibility of the filler flowing through your brains.
Q. I’m scared I’ll experience hair loss after
the procedure.
Unexpected vein accidents can occur when injecting
fillers into the face, and that’s why you need to be extra cautious and careful
when carrying out the procedure. We never OVERDO our procedures, and same goes with
the crayon shinchan filler. My belief when it comes to doing procedures is “To
go beyond is as wrong as to fall short”
I always recommend putting in a certain
amount that’s safe, and adding more later on.
I’m also attaching a photo of a customer
who also received the crayon shinchan filler.

Another question commonly asked by people
interested in head fillers is...
“How long does this filler last for? Can I
sleep normally facing forward?”
Those who received forehead fillers before
will know exactly what I’m talking about.
Fillers that are known to last for a year, don’t really absorb even after 2 years, and lasts for much longer than what’s been said. Just like this, head fillers remain in place in big bulks, just like forehead fillers, and takes longer to dissolve. Unless you melt it through a separate procedure, its half-permanent.
For around a week, we recommend using a shinchan pillow, or sleeping sideways. After that, there’s no problem with sleeping normally, facing forward
